A little touch of spring.

Out my window today , snow in drifts ; temperatures very cold -11 C right now, with a prediction of -20 tonight.Coldest of the winter so far.At least there is a bright blue sky and sun .
With all this cold back after our January thaw I needed something to brighten my home. I am a sucker for spring bulbs and plants. Found a lovely primrose to add a touch of spring to the dining room table.

Cheery isn't it?

Thanks for the comment on my blog. The primrose is beautiful. I think I could use a little touch of spring too. Our spring is a long way off...

Thanks for visiting Rosemary. If it's any consolation we have snow here too, although not quite as cold as you!!
Take care, Donna x

hey we could be neighbors! same temperature where I'm at. Quite cold and windy today, but this has been the wimpiest winters I've ever seen!

I was just thinking the other day I'd love to buy myself some lovely flowers to cheer up my home. The primrose is so pretty! Next trip out I will come back with one of these beauties. Stay warm :-)

You have more snow than we do...but it is just as cold here... :( Having a flowering plant is a good thing. Keeps a smile on. :)

Hi Rosemary. That's such a pretty primrose. It brightened MY day! :-) I hope you'll be able to plant it outdoors later.

You're going to laugh at me, but I saw the pic of your window and first thought; "What a lovely and interesting painting!". I'm such a goof! I love the scene from your window.
