The new diet buzz word , detox!
In my day detox meant cleaning alcohol out of your system.
Now it is the "In" word for diets.

Battling weight is a constant for me.
After a very abundant holiday season, yes I have had too much sugar and complex carbs,bread addict I am ( but gee it is so delicious).
I am looking to eat healthier, okay I will play , detox.
In this effort, for me, planning helps.
To stay away from the goodies I put out my snacks for the day on the kitchen counter , easy to get when tempted.

Oh yes , drinking 8 glasses of water a day too. I am getting my exercise running to the washroom.
Anyone else Detoxing?

I do detox by putting myself on a low acidic, high slkaline diet. Not only is it surprising what you can actually eat, but you feel oh so much better and lose some pounds too. :-)
Put some lemon or cucumber in that water! LOL

Well, I probably need to detox a bit LOL But, it seems like this flu to taking forever to get over. The only good thing about it is that I don't have an appetite LOL

Since the first of the year, I've been trying to eat better (garden first, organic second) and I've also been trying to drink more water. I'm just not a person to sit around sipping on a cola, tea or anything so it's kinda hard for me to get used to trying to sip water all day. But, I'm getting more used to it after 2 weeks now.
