We decided to find a spot half way between our homes. Rosanne did an Internet search and found a delightful spot in Waterford, Belworth House.
This is a lovely old home an a pretty tree lined street.
We were seated at a bay window table with hydrangeas decorating the table.
For lunch we split a Caesar salad
We both chose the roasted tomato soup with rustic grilled cheese and apple sandwich, another hit.
The organic bread is made in Vittoria by 2 gentlemen who have just gone into business and who deliver the bread as needed. For dessert Rosanne chose Blueberry cobbler topped with blueberry yogurt
The presentation on all the dishes was beautiful. For a place neither of us knew anything about it was a big success.
We chatted leisurely for 2 and 1/2 hours, had a delightful time.
