Day lilies are the stars of the garden this week. They are a plant I enjoy in the garden for the ease of care. Tho the flowers only last one day the plant is usually covered with on going blooms that continue for at least a month .

This purple day lily is my favourite , Little Grapette
This last day lily is a lovely soft peach colour..can I remember the name or find the tag . No!
There are so many types of day lilies but this ruffled coloured throat ones are what I prefer....What day lily do you like?

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many varieties of day lilies. They are all beautiful.

Hi Rosemary, They are all nice! I have 'Strawberry Fields' as well. The blooms are small, but I like the pink color. Good pinks are hard to find when it comes to daylilies. My favourite is probably the opening shot. I love when a daylily has ruffles.
