Bloomin Tuesday- October 11

I am finding in my garden this week;
Autumn has well and truly arrived
Maple leaf fallen from  tree

Golden leaves on the fringe tree

2 black eyed susan flowers left

Will leave the seeds for the birds and maybe new plants next spring.
 Sad looking   Nicotiania

All these sad  flowers are now gone
A bright spot of colour Mums and pink geranium .

So  happy  with this colour combo Endless Summer Hydrangea  adds reddish blooms as well as some herbs still  a bright green
Making a new garden  for an over crowded hosta /fern  garden.....this corner is awkward with the  water tap , downspout  and  minimal sun.

Dug up   moved a  blue hosta into that spot...leaving more room for the lady fern......hoping this will make a prettier  corner....next spring!

Hosta leaves changing colour too

Dug and edged  garden bed ready for  dare I say it ,Winter!

Crispy air and azure skies,

High above, a white cloud flies,

                                                              Bright as newly fallen snow.

Oh the joy to those who know October!

A new season has arrived and soon the garden will go to sleep and we'll dream of spring. :)

I see Fall has arrived in your area. I need to start a new garden bed, sigh.

It doesn't seem like fall yet here in SE Nebraska. I think it's going to be hard on me when we get the first killing frost.

I love your mum and geranium combination, too. Seeing your bare dirt gives me goosebumps. I love dirt!

Thanks for your comment on my Bloomin' Tuesday post.
