The last of the Roses?

It has turned from over 32C on Saturday  to 13 C this morning....Brrrr.
Autumn is definitely in the air.....Much as I love Autumn I miss the riot of summer colour.  The flower I decided to highlight   this week . Charles Austin Rose  showing off what might be  the last of  its  blooms.....

These lovely apricot  coloured. roses  love the cooler weather .The many petals and lovely scent make this a favourite of mine. It is resistant to black spot.....
It is a tall rose  some of the  stems  4 feet tall.....
What plant is  showing its last blooms in your garden?

Hello Rosemary, the weather certainly has taken a turn for fall, hasn't it? There were frost warnings for north of us last night, but we came through with a low of 45 degrees.

Your roses are so pretty, I love that shade of peach/apricot. My annuals are still blooming their hearts out and a few roses are struggling to flower, too. All too soon it will be over for another season.

Oh, how I love roses despite the fact I've never had success with them with exception of one I can't kill...LOL

Hi Rosemary, It was a bit of a shock to go from so warm and humid on Saturday/Sunday to cold and grey on Monday. The mornings definitely have a fall nip in the air. This is such a gorgeous David Austin rose. I love that soft peach color.

Love the color.
Not much happening in our gardens except tomatoes are still ripening on the vines so I have a feast everyday.
