It is really Random Acts of Kindness week... What have I done today with kindness?
There are lots of simple things to do , just a smile and a hello .
So today I chatted to a stranger, let a person go ahead of me at the check out, and thanked the cashier for her hard work. I want to do one more act of kindness to a stranger today even if it is as simple as a hello or a thank-you....
One thing I always do on a daily basis is thank someone for holding a door for me.
If someone takes that moment I want them to know I appreciate their kindness.
Does it make life nicer , I think so. I feel better.
Do you take treats to work or to the neighbours? Do you smile at strangers ? Hold doors?
Do you do any random acts of kindness ?

It always makes you feel good to kind things for people especially when they don't expect it. I took goodies into work on Tuesday this week.
Too bad people didn't take this approach EVERY DAY!!!
Rosemary, what a wonderful post! I do try to show my appreciation of the people in my life, those I know and love and those who cross my path seemingly at random. The world needs more Random Acts of Kindness, sort of like a Global-Heartwarming. Thank you for the reminder!
Nice post and something everyone should keep in mind. I am your new follower. Stop by my new one sometime.

this is something everyone should do every day. It is so important to make people feel important... in some small way.. :o)
Very nice, Rosemary. We can all use the reminder, I'm sure. Let's see. The other day I went out of my way to tell the yoga instructor how much I enjoyed class. I was nice to a barista this morning. And I always try to hold doors for people.
I agree that we should all be kinder and more considerate. Yesterday, we stopped the car because we noticed a stray dog. I was terrified the dog was going to be hit by a car. I consider this a bit of a return favor that I sent out into the universe in thanks for the stranger who came to my door to let me know that our own dogs had gotten out of the back yard and were wondering too close to the road.
