Car Rally

Last Sunday went on a car rally with the neighbours Ken and Carol , this was a first for me.
Thinking it would be a nice scenic tour through countryside seeing things never noticed before.
Let me tell you it is not relaxing.
There were 50 spots of interest that we had to find as we drove.... Obscure hand painted signs, colours of fences, metal structures, what does that business produce, what is the weight that bridge hold, what is the name of the bridge, how old was this person when died( yes we were in a graveyard), travel 0.7 kms, then 2.1 kms, what does the sign on the red barn say, what does a plug of tobacco cost? All these questions to answer and more. One interesting stop was at the Delhi Tobacco Museum. The museum welcomed us with cookies and a lemon Ade drink .Very interesting museum and a place I probably would not have gone to by myself..
Another stop along the way was Country Candles Shop, a place I am very familiar with, so enjoy the candles made there..my favourite Grandma's Kitchen. a spicy scent.
The car rally took 2 hours and when finished we enjoyed a potluck at the clubhouse. Did we win anything? No.
But had a great fun time. Will do it again.

Definately sounds interesting, not something I would have thought of doing. I'm glad you had a good time. :)
