Ladies Play day

Friday was set aside as a ladies play day,my Mother , Sherry and myself drove to Kitchener to Rosanne's . Rosanne had planned a day of shopping in quaint little shops in the area with a break in the middle for lunch.

We started out with Rosanne driving, to the first stop Blair House in Cambridge then on through the picturesque down town of Galt to Heart Strings. Both these shops were in old stone and brick homes each containing unique decor items.Lots to oo and ah over.

We then went to Elmira to Crossroads for lunch. An Amish restaurant with a gift shop attached. Food was very good . Elderberry pie was my dessert , also rhubarb pie . The gift shop had lots of great items in particular windchimes, planters and wrought iron teacup holders.

Then on to Conestogo the Mercantile there with a retro 50 feel in one part, a very French feel in another room and a beach theme in another. The shop had some funny mugs , napkin s and other items for the stressed lady.

Waterloo was next ,the down town which is quite lovely held 2 shops we stopped at , Lily White and Blessings. Nice gift items at both.

All the shops had something of interest that appeal to the discerning lady looking for something different to have for themselves , friends and home.

It was a wonderful way to spend a day . Thanks Rosanne!
