April 9 2007 Brayden's Birthday and the Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Brayden's 11th Birthday and Easter Egg Hunt in the snow was a wonderful day.
The grandkids searched for the eggs under 2 inches of snow and amazingly found just about all. We do keep count. Somehow or other we find them even weeks later. Certainly this was the coldest weather we have ever done the hunt in.
Sherry hosted the Easter Dinner, the table setting done in creams and soft pinks, with white chocolate Easter bunnies, egg cups in soft pastel colours filled with speckled easter eggs. White linen , vintage damask napkins and tealights completed the table. Lovely!
Brayden chose a Black Forest Birthday cake which his Mom made , so good!
Dinner was spiral cut ham, roast beef with yorkshire pudding ,another family fav, pavlov my contribution, a delicious pineapple casserole from Mom and a very good spinach strawberry salad with candied almonds from Rosanne.
Yummy and always more than we need .That is always the way with holidays.
Brayden loved all his gifts, camo clothes bathing suit , game for game boy , a clock with the family name on and money for Florida.
It was a great day!
