Still the garden is showing signs of the dryness we had.
The Autumn Joy sedum and Molina grass are not happy. Sedum instead of being pretty pink is brown and the grass is sparse .
The Japanese Anemone is showing more flowers but not nearly the usual amount.
Fall flowering clematis is starting to show . I combined it with morning glories and the cherry tomatoes entwined all by itself.... a fine mess I will have to clean up this fall .
will have a challenge to untwine these 3 plants |
This clematis has very small flowers but is a nice fall garden addition |
Lastly more pictures of the morning glory. One from inside on a bright sunny day , like the flowers peeking in the window......
Pretty to see from inside. |
So full of blooms |

Your morning glories look glorious. And the anemones are still beautiful at whatever size they got to. Glad that you have gotten some rain now.

It does help to journal doesn't it?
I'm still loving the morning glory!
No mistakes, just learning opportunities! Love those morning glories all-day-long!
Hi Rosemary,
I'm glad to hear you received a little bit of rain. We are do for a shower tonight. Your Anemones look nice and the Morning Glories are stunning! Wish I had planted some this year. Blessings - Donna
Love the view of the morning glories from inside. Perfect shot! I think we have all suffered from the weather this year. It must be a little to find all those tomatoes. Jean
We have had a good deal of rain although it is a little late for the garden to be looking good this fall. My garden is very quiet. A few roses and a smattering of other things...that's it. I could write the same note to self!
We've yet to get any decent and the garden is really showing it.
