Still I do have visitors to my Dark Knight Buddleia which are so welcome........
What a pleasure to have butterflies and moths in the garden.
The Buddleia flowers are going over very fast with the heat.
Tomatoes are just starting to ripen. We have only 4 plants in our tiny side garden but they are producing nicely even with the dryness..... oh my, the watering bill!

I'd say what's left is good stuff! The butterfly in the top photo is the most gorgeous colors, I have never seen one that color. Your tomatoes look good. Enjoy! xo
Hi Rosemary, Love your butterfly photos! They really are enjoying the butterfly bush (which is stunning, by the way)! Your tomatoes look good. You'll enjoy those for sure.
You need rain barrels! We don't mind getting our water bill anymore!
Your tomatoes look gorgeous! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Hi Rosemary. Boy that tomato sure looks yummy. You took some really beautiful butterfly pictures.
The summer heat is wreaking havov and I've already cut down a huge amount causing for bare areas in the garden.... :(
We use rain barrels too and love them. I'm glad that you still have stuff going on outside. :)
We use a rain barrel too and we love it. Glad you still have stuff to take pictures of. :)
Big boy are pretty good tomatoes.
Loving the butterfly pictures.
Oh, the tomatoes look great! And great photo of the butterfly.
Rosemary how true is that !
This year has been so difficult .. Spring zipped by so fast I wasn't even sure we had one .. the Black Eyed Susans are carrying the garden for pops of colour right now .. this is not one year I would say "wow" to for the garden's performance, but it was the weather's fault so I can't blame the garden .. right ? LOL

Hi Rosemay...I've always loved butterfly bushes; yours look good. I remember when we moved from the city to the country. I looked so forward to having well water and not having to pay--never thought about the fact that I could run the well dry! So I still can't water as much as I'd like! Beautiful tomatoes, too.
You still have a few things left to enjoy. Those tomatoes look good! I think I have a butterfly bush flower, too. We have had a few days of rain, which has really been nice. Love the butterfly pics!
I bought a new butterfly bush just yesterday. It was on sale for $8 and was way to hard to resist. It has been a really tough summer. Thank goodness for the rain of the last few days. Have a great weekend Rosemary!
Nice pics! I get tired of trying to chase down butterflies in our garden. It's too hot for that. :-)
We've had plenty of tomatoes, think we'll need to pick up some canning supplies.
Beautiful butterflies! I can never seem to get good pics so I really enjoyed yours. Jean
Hi Rosemary! It's been a struggle, hasn't it? But your "flying flower" is beautiful and it warms my heart to see the photos!
I do have a few flowers blooming. The Surprise Lilies have shot up and begun to bloom. They aren't as tall as usual, but that's okay. :-)
The past few days have been cooler and more conducive to working out doors. A gooood thing!!
Have a great day and hang in there!!
Hi Rosemary,
Stunning photos of your butterfly bush and Swallowtail :-) Your tomatoes look delicious - something I surely miss not living on a farm anymore. Enjoy your harvest!
Hi Rosemary,
Your butterfly bush is gorgeous! I have a miniature variety. I see butterflies are no stranger to your yard. Yesterday I saw a Painted Lady butterfly, which is the one in your first photo.
