Rubrum Lilies

Lilies  are  the star of my garden this week.. and even tho it has been a hot and very dry summer the rubrum lilies are spectacular this summer...

They are tall , a good  4 and 1/2 feet.

The   sweet fragrance  greets you when  walking  by to the patio... I positioned them by the arbour  and bench   so one can pause and   enjoy the scent..

 loads of buds

Hoping for rain this week,  so dry here.........

They're beautiful, Rosemary. I can almost smell them, my yard is all dried up except for weeds which thrive in any weather. xo

Your lilies are lovely. Over 4 feet - WOW, that is amazing. They look very nice next to your bench.

Rosemary, Your liies are fantastic! I too love the smell of the oriental lilies - it's the best kind of "perfume" that I know of.

Rosemary,

Wow! Your rubrum lilies are magnificent! Such striking color and look wonderful next to your garden bench. I see your Rose of Sharon is blooming too :-)

Hi Rosemary! What a beautiful variety of lilies you have, too! :-) Hope you're doing well. I seem to have a hard time "getting around" these days. Boo.
