On my early frosty morning walk I checked out the Villages allotment garden
I finally got permission to have half of a garden ,a lady gave up one part of what she had previously and luckily I got it. Betty is keeping the half with the raspberry bushes.About 30 residents garden in this area of the pond park.
The garden area I will have is about 10 x 12, now trying to decide what to plant.
I sauntered on , the sun strengthened and warmed the air, I came upon
some lovely crab trees in full blossom
Lilacs budding out
What a beautiful spring morning.........

Hmmm, can't wait to see what you plant. Are you going to plant veggies or cutting flowers or both?
Great to see that spring has finally arrived in your area.
Rosanne;
I will be devoting that garden to veggies.

Spring is still trying to hide but slowly winning out!
Pretty pictures. :) You ned tomatoes if nothing else. :)
What a great idea and good fortune, Rosemary! I've just planted 4 tomato plants, a pepper, and found a parsley that wintered over(!) in my "Sunny garden bed" I hope to stick some onions here and there. It may be the best I can do.
Beautiful pictures Mom!
