Lilies!

Joining Bloomin Tuesday at Jean's!
Early summer and the lilies are just starting to bloom. These showoffs    light up the  patio garden .

This is the  3rd season for these Lollipop lilies . They are really showing off this year.  Grouped them by a grey  concrete bench..... like the contrast.

Lollipop lilies
The earliest daylily   is opposite the Lollipop , Fragrance Delight with light lemon coloured  blossoms.....  Loads of buds yet to come.......   They add very bright spots of colour  to  the garden..........

These  day lilies have a lovely light scent.
A touch of cool  is the white astilbe ...  give a peaceful  feeling ......

Love the airy look of the blooms
Brought some summer indoors using  some  Lady's mantle and  my   volunteer  pink  sweet peas to   the dining table.
Cornflower etched bowl
Love this  antique glass rose bowl.
This is what is" bloomin" in my garden this week!

I love the lilies (pink is one of my favorite colors) and the way they contrast with the bench, nice!
Also the white astilbe. Good choice.

I love lilies, but had to dig all my oriental ones because of that dreaded red lily beetle. I still have lots of dayliles though and they are blooming.
Have you had time to stop by and enter my give away?

Hi Rosemary, I really like the way you have massed the pink lilies. One or two would have been lost. Your placement never the grey bench is nicely done too. My sweet peas are up.I so hope I can get a few blooms before the bunnies notice them! Have a great long weekend! The weather is supposed to be really hot. I am sure you must have something cool and fun planned.
