Is it too early to be thinking Christmas Decor?

Perhaps it seems early to be thinking  Christmas decor but a few  things  had  me thinking......
At  Hobby Lobby on    Tuesday with 3 girlfriends , Christmas carols were playing;  usually  so soon after Halloween I find that annoying but this time  found I   enjoyed  it ,
and this weekend , a  big Fall chore; clean up the basement and re organize  my seasonal  items.
While  sorting thru the Xmas ornaments and  rearranging shelves   started thinking of  how to decorate this Christmas.
Final encouragement  received an email from Better Homes and Gardens with  Holiday  ideas .
Here are some that caught my eye.

like the mitten instead of the usual stockings

this looks so  elegant

It was so nice this weekend, that it's way too soon to think of Christmas. Good to hear you got the basement cleaned. I really need to declutter some myself.

Hi Rosemary, I have started to think about Christmas, but have not done anything just yet. Usually, I wait until the 15th of November before doing any decorating. I like some of these ideas, especially the apples, pinecones and fir on the mantel. It looks very fresh. The mittens are a nice change from standard stockings. The table place makers and candles are so simple yet fun and festive.
