Beachin It!

Sweltering weather . High's of 35 C.  Extreme weather continues in the area.
We have had a very  snowy cold winter ,an unusually   wet and cool spring and now extreme heat and no rain......
Have my  16 year old granddaughter visiting for  a couple of weeks .

What can one do to amuse a teenager?
Head for the beach about 5 minutes away.

It  was lovely  , gentle breeze , cool gentle waves , hot sun. blue sky,  suntan lotion ,   and oh yes sand too.....

Wave jumping.
Sitting  in the cool water. Hours are easily spent at the beach..... the heat is  staying around for the next week in fact getting hotter ,  see lots of beachin over the next  while !

Always a fun way to spend a hot day and I'm sure your granddaughter had a blast. :)

Hi Rosemary! I'm glad to see your pretty granddaughter is enjoying the beach. This weather is really something, isn't it? I just don't like the heat at all, when I hear of people moving to where it's warm all the time, I cringe, how do they do it? But I suppose they may think the same about us who live with snow, too, right?

Two thunderstorms in less than eight hours came through last night and this morning and now we've had more than two inches of rain. Oh, boy, more mosquitoes--but the plants are loving it. Take it easy in this hot weather.

This looks so refreshing and I haven't had a swim in a while being winter here at the moment! Enjoy it while it lasts..
