Bloomin Tuesday- Summer Arrives

After  the long snowy winter and a wet  rainy cool spring  the  wonderful long days of summer  arrive today at 1:15 .
Daylight was breaking before  5AM.   I was outside  taking these photos  before  6,  mist casting  a greyness to the morning light and a heavy dew decorated the flowers warning of the humidity to come  .
The garden is showing  lots of colour.....
Endless Summer Hydrangea

Charles Austin Rose

Rose bushes this year are heavy with blossoms..

Black Beauty Elderberry

Milky Way Dogwood

Heuchera, lovely delicate blooms

Astilbe, it is a white one  purchased from  a plant sale so no name...

Abraham Darby Rose buds, laden with dew.

Love to capture  dew drops on  flowers.

I am making a promise not to complain  about the heat and humidity this summer, just enjoy these too short  days.

I love the Endless Summer Hydrangea. I planted three of them a few years ago, but mine never bloom! I just moved two of them last weekend, so maybe they will like their new home better and send out a few flowers.
