Spring is arriving!

Thank goodness spring arrives today at 7:21 pm.
The   last  of the more than abundant  winter snow finally  melted this past week . Weather this last week was  wonderfully springlike with April type  temperatures.
On a walk in the park yesterday with Buddy, the dog  3 robins were  busily searching for worms.......  darn did not have my camera with me to take a picture tho.
As the snow melted off the gardens crocuses were already there and flowering happily in the sun.. The bright yellow colour so cheery.

The icicle pansies made it through the winter and one has a bud on it already.

Unwrapped  the burlap from the Japanese tree peony and it is loaded with big buds....

All these little signs of spring help this winter weary lady see the light at the end of this very snowy and long season....

Welcome Spring!

Happy to see life in your garden.
It's amazing that some flowers will bloom through the snow or right after it melts.
