Spinach Casserole a la Julia Child

Last week while blog surfing went to a favourite , Smitten Kitchen . She had posted about Julia Child 's best baked spinach casserole... Just had to try it.. It is a rave from me. So good. Maybe it was all the butter or the Swiss cheese.....it is fabulous.
The changes I made are as follows...
I cut the recipe in half....... used baby spinach.

For broth I used chicken instead of  beef..

Baked it for just 25  minutes.
Served with steak...

This is    so good will be making it again  ....click on the Smitten Kitchen link for the recipe .... Do try it!

Sounds like it would be good and great with steak!

Oooh - now we giraffes do love spinach - though our casserole will be vegetarian! We always hang a few spinach leaves from the ceiling clothes-drying rack so we can nibble them as we go by.
