Bloomin Tuesday! in November?

It is getting to be quite the challenge to find anything blooming in my Canadian garden at this time of the year.So out I went with my camera to find something of interest.
Shady's seeds she shared with me, are in the ground and under my version of a green house. So hope I get some germination.

I received a gift on my birthday from Louise my neighbour , crocus. In the ground they have gone.

Will look forward to a lovely early spring surprise in 2011, wonder if I will get all the colours shown on the package..
So what is flowering?

Icicle pansies planted a couple of weeks ago have settled in very happily and tho I took off all the flowers and buds when planted they have come on with lots of blooms . Find pansies so cheery.... placed them just outside the dining room patio doors so can enjoy them thru the winter.
Whatever will I find to post next week?

Rosemary, You have been busy planting. I say I'm going to put in more bulbs every year but never do. The pansies are so pretty. Loive them! Jean

Oh boy...now you reminded me of another thing I haven't done yet...plant bulbs.

The pansies will do well where you planted them!

We have yet to have a hard freeze here; same thing happened last year. So we still have lots in bloom.
Your pansies look great. Do they bloom all winter?

Your pansies are lovely. I always debate whether I'll plant pansies or not. They never return in the spring so they only give a tiny bit of color for such a short time. But when I see yours I wish I had planted some.

Nothing like a cheerful pansy. Have loved them since I was a child.

The Icicle pansies do bloom up until a very hard frost then in the spring they come back very quickly and put on a big show until mid summer when they become scraggley.
