August, all ready?

This summer has been warmer than usual and the garden is reflecting that. Flowers that bloom in August are blooming now..
Rose of Sharon.

Lily of the Nile

Sedums are starting to show colour
Hydrangea is in full flower, love this plant.
Will try to dry some of these blossoms again this fall.

Tomato plants are loaded with fruit.

Here is the first ripe one. Yum! This is at least 2 to 3 weeks early to be enjoying the taste of a fresh picked tomato.

Is your garden farther along in the season too?

Haha garden is a laugh at this point in time. I planted late, due to weather and time. I think my tomato plants (at least made it through the hail so far) might have flowers on them. 1 cabbage plant left and maybe two carrot tops, the rest is still wait and see.
Your garden looks awesome

Hi Rosemary! I like the new blog look! Our garden seems to be further along also, we've had a lot of hot, hot weather lately. Love that hydrangea. I bought a new one last year, hope it does well.
But so far we've only had one ripe tomato.
