Roasted Kale tastes like potato chips?

This year I am growing kale for the first time ,4 very healthy plants , they are huge.......Do I know what to do with this veggie?
That is a big NO!
Reading Oklahoma Kitty's blog she mentioned Cheryl's roasted kale....... Had to try it.
Well washed the Kale , thick stalks cut off and leaves torn into bite size pieces.

After roasting;

Healthy it is.........Kale is high in Vitamins A,C and K, good source of manganese , calcium and iron, fiber and protein..It is tougher than chard and spinach and that is why it is used mostly in soups.
If you want to try it
3 -4 cups firmly packed kale
1 TBSP. olive oil
1 tsp. sea salt
Heat oven to 375 Wash, trim kale, strip leaves off stocks.tear into bite sized pieces. Drizzle with olive oil and salt. Roast 5 minutes , turn over, roast another 7-10 minutes until kale is brown and crisp. . It becomes paper thin.. Serve immediately.
This serves 2, 186 calories 14 grams of fat...
Did they taste like potato chips?
No, but they were good , crisp and salty , think they would go well with a beer..... certainly somewhat healthier than potato chips........... okay ,maybe not..

Now that might be good.
Kale never thrilled me...sorta bitter. Turning it into chips sure is different.
