Life has gotten busier

Retirement was keeping me nicely busy, easy gentle days puttering at whatever hobby or homemaking job I chose..... I then committed to working as a casual .. a day here a day there.. a little mad money for all the play things I love to do...yet before I knew it a jam packed schedule of work and play ......... a little Gramma sitting for 4 days ....... a terrific visit with my daughter Rosanne and granddaughter Brittany.
With the weather finally turning into sizzling summer weather. the 3 h's, 30 C. hot hazy and humid, such a shock after the cool rainy summer we had been experiencing...spent several days in the pool at Sherry's watching the boys cavorting , their Mom and Dad in Montreal for a long weekend.

On the way home we had to visit Twins an old fashioned ice cream parlour after all it was 35 C , so hot!
We all indulged in ice cream cones . Yum!
Fun but Phew busy!

Wonderful way to create great times and memories, Rosemary! It was a beautiful day for their visit, also. :-)

oh i am so happy that you are having a good time! I've been stuck in a hot smell factory for the past to weeks! Please continue to enjoy your retirement this way work doesn't seem so bad if I know there is someone out there having a life!

It's good to be busy! Sounds like you're having a great time.

It's all been hectic in Giraffe World too, with summer tours and helping in the Gleeful & Greedy!

Nice nice! We're looking forward to retirement. And perhaps, if we're lucky, someday, grandchildren.
