Saturday- movie and tacos

Took Brock and Brayden to a Saturday afternoon movie, reminded me of the many Saturdays I spent at the movies when I was much younger.
We picked Paul Blart Mall Cop.

Everyone else in London must have thought this wintry Saturday afternoon was a good time to go too.
In all the many times going to this 8-plex , it was so busy, had trouble finding a parking spot .In our theater every seat was filled.
Mall cop was a funny, fluffy good family movie with the audience laughing out loud thru many parts. They actually applauded at the end.
Brock has 3 games he is refereeing this evening starting at 5:10 and going until 11 pm so for a quick supper made tacos , something I can keep warm in oven, so I can feed him in between games. Besides we were stuffed after popcorn, pop and candy at the theater.

Still Brayden loved them , they were just a package of Old El Paso but hey if the grandsons like them, who am I to argue.
Notice the classy serving!
Ice Cream sundaes for dessert.
Total junk food day!
That's what Grammas are supposed to do once in a while .
Right?

I do so love tacos!!!! In fact, ANY Mexican food is so good to consume...fattening, but oh so delicious. They look so yummy.

I've heard that this movie is very funny. The audience applauded at the end, huh? How wonderful. I truly like that whole concept. Makes it worth the $ you pay to get in to see the movie, right?

I added you to my 'pay it forward' award. Your link is now at the recipient's list...come on back and pick it up if you'd like Rosemary.

Happy day to you.

Junk food days are the best! Your grandkids will not want to go home. :-)

The movie sounds fun, Rosemary! I wonder if we'd be able to get it over here? I love the idea of the applause at the end! My favourite films are ones that leave you feeling happy and warm inside.

I like the old El Oaso taco boxes, it beats making a run to Taco Bell. :) At least I can fix them up the way I like. And now they have one that has both hard and soft shells so both me and my husband are happy. :)

Looks like the boys had a great day with Grandma - movies, junk food, Grandma - what more could you ask for?
