A friend gave me a new mug.
As anyone knows most kitchen cupboards have more than enough mugs.
Mine certainly do.
Politely and I hope graciously I thanked her.
Meanwhile the evil twin side of me was thinking " Just what I need, another mug".
Lately I have been enjoying a tea break mid afternoon.I have been using The Little Red Roaster teas, Lemon spirit, light lemony flavour and Kitsilano, a light raspberry tea, so delicious.

so well with a little
indulgence ; a scone, cookie or biscuit.
This mug is perfect for the times one wants only 1 or 2 cups not a whole pot.It has an insert with holes for your tea bag or loose tea , it has a lid to keep the warmth in while steeping.The lid then holds the insert when the tea is ready. Neat and clean. This would be a fabulous Christmas gift mug for those one works with .
What I have learned is never judge a gift too quickly, it may turn out to be one's favourite new thing.
