Christmas Shopping Weekend

This last weekend was the annual shopping trip to the US. My sister ,my daughters and I go to Saginaw and Birch Run once a year in the fall.
We stay at the Fair field Inn Marriott in Saginaw , a very good clean hotel. They have an excellent complimentary breakfast with freshly made waffles.
Our room;
Friday deciding on our plan of attack.

Fashion Square Mall were we got some excellent deals at JC Penneys.
We spent 2 days in the Saginaw area , shopping Hobby Lobby, the mall, Kohl's, Walmart , Target , Joannes, Bed Bath and Beyond, Michael's, Best Buy plus all the stores in the mall. We spent a day at Birch Run , Rosanne and Sherry having the younger legs shopped much longer than my sister and I did. Stores staying open 24 hours a day or some until 11 PM certainly encourage one to spend. Just a small sample of some of our purchases.

Saturday night waiting for a table at Chili's
Some of the indulgences,Let me say the chocolate chip molten cake is to die for.

Some yummy cocktails.
Relaxing
Tired and pooped
Even with the Canadian dollar rate of exchange we found bargains, and variety we can't get in Canada. The best part besides the laughs , the time spent with each other.

Rosemary,

Thank you for dropping by my Writing Nook and commenting on my Nursing Sisters post. It's nice to meet another Canadian blogger.

It looks like everyone had a great time in Saginaw. I haven't shopped in the States for years and would love to again, but it won't be this year. All of my shopping is pretty much done.

Take care. I hope you will visit again.
Blessings,
Mary

Isn't that the best part? Shopping with "the girls" in your family? :-) Sounds like you had a great time!
