It's my Birthday!

Another year has gone by.
Okay, it is decades that have gone by.
Do I feel ancient?
Sometimes the body feels that way but mentally I think I am 25.
Delusional I know, still
I like to think I am a little older and a little wiser.
I had to find out what my birthdate meant.
Not very flattering but elements of truth I am afraid.

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

So what else did I do to acknowledge this momentous day?
My family helped me celebrate early last Sunday , when we celebrated Thanksgiving . My favourite black forest cake , and no the fire department did not come to help put out the candles.
I received many lovely gifts , a spa day , gorgeous hall mirror and a hand made "coat of many colours" done by my Mother.
One lovely treat from my sister Donna was a lovely bouquet of roses.

Donna also treated my to lunch Friday at one of my favourite restaurants, The Clog and Thistle in Ingersoll. Donna had salmon pasta with Caesar salad and for dessert
a chocolate truffle cheesecake


I indulged in
spinach salad with a Cuban chicken on focaccia bread with roasted red peppers and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.
It was all so good.
Best part of the events , time with my family.
