Thursday my favourite female cousin, Shirley,

and I went out for lunch to Pinecroft , The Green Frog Tearoom.This is a picturesque setting in the middle of a pine forest. They make their own pottery which is used in the dining room. Have been going here for years and love the place.

On the menu , several asparagus recipes and rhubarb crisp.

Shirley had asparagus gratin with Caesar salad and the rhubarb crisp and I had the asparagus and ham roll up with Caesar salad and apple crepe for dessert . So good.

We then went on to Winter Wheat in Sparta another rustic setting with lovely gardens to stroll thru . Picked up some votives , clean cotton scent , and some little candle lights.Off we went to Sparta Classics , selling handcrafted primitive wooden art . Shirley got 2 lovely flying angels for her porch. It was a fun day we never stopped talking , the weather was warm and sunny , great time.
