Early Mother's Day

Because my sister has a mass to go to next Sunday and I am working , we decided to take Mother for an early Mother's Day lunch.

Donna suggested The Pineapple Room in the Telegraph House in Port Stanley.Good suggestion ! It was a beautiful sunny day , lots of people strolling the streets, dropping into the shops along the main street.

The lunch was as usual superb. We all had the same thing a spinach, mushroom and feta cheese quiche with house salad. The best dessert they make the famous Rhubarb Cream Pie.

We then stopped at Jacksons Fish Market buying some fresh yellow perch caught that morning.

On the way home we stopped at Moore's Garden Centre and Mom picked 2 hanging fushias , Donna got some pink wave petunias and I picked up 2 new plants a blue star flower and a white star like flower euphorbia for

use in hanging baskets. This euphorbia a featured flower on the P.Allan Smith garden show just that morning.

It was an enjoyable day!
