First of February at Sherry's for fondue!

It was so good . A nice relaxing way to dine. There was meats pork, beef and chicken and several yummy sauces and a cheese fondue with french bread that was very delicious I am so wanting that recipe and then chocolate fondue with fruits and cake to dip in. Who could not like that !

Brock and Brayden had never had a fondue , they liked it! It was great to be part of the first time! Here we are just sitting down.

Well the weather has finally warmed up instead of -20 we are above zero during the day.
Spring can it be far behind!
Okay it is a while yet.
At least I can start planning the spring garden.
Have you noticed the days are getting longer? A sure sign!

Re my weight loss still working at it down 32 pounds since August.
40 pounds from my highest weight. 15 more to go.
Hoping by next fall will be there.
Have a shopping trip planned for October and it would be nice to be able to get some new clothes as well as getting some early Xmas presents.

Heading to Florida in March , sun, warm breezes and no snow!
Relaxation is the top priority .Retail therapy as well. Some painting of the artistic kind too. A whole month too !

I have been busy doing some early spring cleaning prior to going away .
I have a floral arrangement to make for Pam at work to do, my second commission! Perhaps a new career!
A spring gardening article to write for the ICU in house newsletter.
Some gardens to plan for a friend "Linda" and my daughter Sherry, may have to do some planning on vacation.
Going to dinner at Sherry's this weekend and the whole family Rosanne and her gang will be there too , so looking forward to seeing everyone.

Seems like a busy February but it is such a long "short " month in the mid of winter.

Anniversary Flowers

Here are the lovely flowers we got on our Anniversary . The one on the table is from Rosanne and family , on the buffet from Sherry and her family, the cut arrangement from Mother and side table with the lamp is from Bob. Love flowers and the best part I can plant the bulbs out in the garden in the spring.

Well I said Winter had finally arrived.
It has done so with a vengence.
Arctic winter weather has sunk into the area and we are under a winter chill warning.Temps are dropping like a stone with - 19 forecast for tonight.
So the ground hog Wiarton Willie did not see his shadow on Feb 2nd also my wedding anniversary on that date , we received some beautiful arrangements , pics will be posted soon.
All I can say is the sooner spring comes the better, that rodent better be right!.
Heading to Florida in 4 weeks I can hardly wait for some sun and warmth and hopefully by the time I get back spring will truly have arrived.
